Haysom Ward Miller Architects specialise in delivering thoughtful and considered projects at a range of scales for a broad variety of clients, including private individuals, developers, charities and community-led organisations. We work on projects spanning from individual houses to masterplanning neighbourhoods. Whatever the scale of project, our ambition remains the same: to create places and spaces that enhance the quality of our lives.

Our work is grounded in craft, a careful reading of context and acknowledgment of architects' wider responsibility to communities, future generations and the environment. We develop an architectural language that emerges from the specific conditions of each site, shaped by its physical and social surroundings and underpinned by high sustainability standards. Through a responsive and iterative design process we seek to create buildings and spaces that are beautiful, intelligent and deeply connected to their setting.

Haysom Ward Miller Architects was established in Cambridge over twenty years ago; the three current directors, Tom Miller, Rowan Haysom and Liz Miller, as well as retired director Patrick Ward, had all previously worked in other practices in the city. The practice has developed a distinctive portfolio over the years, winning numerous awards at both the local and national levels.
